![]() ![]() Tammi also learned about differences between the Danish and Americans when it comes to business, “Americans take a very interesting approach to business: Work all day, come home and work some more,” she says. “Living basically alone in a foreign country can be hard, but by trial and error I learned how to maximize my time there, cook for one person, manage public transportation, and enjoy the world around me,” she says. ![]() ![]() She she chose a summer abroad program in Denmark through UNC Kenan-Flagler’s partnership with Copenhagen Business School.Īs she planned for being abroad, Tammi recognized the stress of leaving the familiar and moving to a new country where she would she would navigate a new language, a new culture and even a new currency.
